In the last month, shipments to the USA have become subject to tariffs depending on the class of product, and the location the product is manufactured.
Below are some frequently asked questions about these new rules, and how we’re managing them.
Please be aware that the information in this post could change without notice; however we will do our best to ensure that the information given here is as up-to-date as possible.

Where are EnPointe’s products made? Where are they shipped from?
All our wireless products, including our Wireless Sets, Display Boxes, Relay Boxes, Pocket Boxes and Piste Boxes are made in Australia.
Some of our lower priced accessories (connector cords, waistband clips, conductive tape and memory cards) are made in China.
All orders are shipped from our Australian warehouse.
Will I have to pay tariffs to receive my package?
Our wireless products (Display Boxes, Relay Boxes, Pocket Boxes and Piste Boxes) are made in Australia, and are classified as communication devices, which means they should be exempt from tariffs at this time. We will update this page, and notify any customers with current orders, if this changes.
Our lower priced accessories (connector cords, waistband clips, conductive tape and memory cards) are made in China. Goods from China under the de minimus threshold ($800) are tariff-free until the 2nd of May, after which they may incur a tariff of either 30% of their value or $25 per item (increasing to $50 per item after June 1, 2025). We are unsure which tariff would be applied, as no items have yet been shipped under these conditions. This is in reference to the latest tariff order, but could be subject to change. If you are not sure, it may be cheaper to ship your wireless system without accessories. Some items like connector cords (Épée wires) may be easier to source locally.
In summary, you should not be charged anything to receive an order of wireless systems, but it’s possible you could be charged a tariff on accessories (connector cords, waistband clips, conductive tape and memory cards) purchased after May 2, 2025.
What if I have an item sent for repair or replacement? Will I have to pay tariffs to receive a repaired or replacement system?
No, all repaired or replacement systems are tariff-free.
What should I do if I am charged extra to receive my shipment?
Of our many USA customers who have purchased since the tariff changes were implemented, we have had only one customer report that they were requested to pay tariffs on their wireless system. We believe this was in error, and are awaiting the result of contesting the charge.
In the interim, we recommend firstly contesting the charge with the courier, then contacting the EnPointe Team if you require further support.
We are currently investigating our options regarding shipping Delivery Duty Paid (ie. where EnPointe pays any incurred fees). While this shipment method is more expensive for both business and consumer, it may be easier for our customers to receive their packages, depending on how current tariffs are enforced.
How long should it take for me to receive my package?
The shipping times listed in our Shipping, Payments and Returns page are still the estimates given by the courier. However it is possible there may be delays, due to increased customs volumes at US ports of entry.
