- When battery is running very low, the display will now automatically dim instead of turning off (but will still turn off when empty).
- Minor bug fixes.
- Display Boxes how have the ability to broadcast the state of the fencing lights in real time to other Bluetooth devices (eg. phone/tablet/computer).

SYSTEM UPDATE
VERSION 1.4
Version 1.4 offers the following improvements:
FOR ALL WEAPONS
- A faster touch on process (you won’t notice a change the first time you touch on after you install the update, but subsequent touch ons will be near instantaneous).
FOIL
- More accurate sensing for a loose Pocket Box and disconnected lamé.
- Improved hit detection reliability in environments with unusually high levels of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and in sweaty conditions.
SABRE
- A new method of hit detection that is more tolerant to sweat and a loose Pocket Box.
- More accurate lamé-disconnected sensing (the system no longer displays a solid equipment error light when you grab your own blade).
- More reliable detection of fast hits to the mask
- Significantly improved tolerance to EMI (electromagnetic interference)
Please report any bugs you may encounter in this version by contacting EnPointe Support.

SYSTEM UPDATE
VERSION 1.3
Version 1.3 offers the following improvements:
FOR ALL WEAPONS
- Improved the reliability of wireless communication, especially when using multiple systems concurrently.
- Increased latency of hit signalling from 32ms to 50ms, to accomodate the improvement in wireless communication. (Please note that the time difference between hits remains unchanged, and is accurate to within 1ms.)
FOIL
- Fixed a rare bug where the piste can look on-target if the blade is also hitting flat on a very sweaty leg (when using a Piste Box).
SABRE
- Applied a new method of hit detection that should be much more tolerant to sweat and loose pockets.
- Implemented more accurate lamé-disconnected sensing. The system no longer displays a solid equipment error light when grabbing your own blade.
- More reliable detection of fast hits to the mask
- Significantly improved tolerance to EMI (electromagnetic interference)
PISTE BOX
- Removed possibility for a single Piste Box to be paired with multiple Relay Boxes.
- Relay box will no longer remember the Piste Box if batteries are taken out of the Piste Box. If the Piste Box’s batteries are removed or replaced, it will need to be re-paired to the Relay Box.
Please report any bugs you may encounter in this version by contacting EnPointe Support.

SYSTEM UPDATE
VERSION 1.2
Version 1.2 allows for the use of the Piste Box to cancel hits to a metallic piste in Foil and Epee.
It has also implemented the following improvements, in addition to those implemented in the v1.1-beta:
FOR ALL WEAPONS
- Supports the addition of a Piste Box to cancel hits to a metallic piste.
- Improves memory card compatibility for future updates. (Already implemented in boxes purchased after December 2018.)
- More reliable touch-on process
- Increased threshold for the ‘loose pocket’ error light. The pocket must now be considerably more ‘loose’ for the error light to appear.
- When ‘touched on’, the battery indicator light on the Pocket Boxes (viewed through the pins), now indicates which side of the piste the Pocket Box is currently touched-on to. The colours correspond to the on-target light on that side of the piste. So, on a conventional score box; red=left, green=right.
SABRE
- Fixed a bug whereby a small number of clubs experienced errant double-lights on some hits.
- Increased reliability in the detection of fast hits to the mask.
- Improved performance in noisy environments.
FOIL
- Now cancels button-to-button, guard-to-guard hits (only possible while hitting through a metallic piste.)
- Implemented more accurate lamé disconnected sensing – no longer displays a solid equipment error light when grabbing your own blade.
- Fixed hits to bare skin through the blade that were previously cancelled.
ÉPÉE
- Now cancels button-to-button, guard-to-guard hits (only possible while hitting through a metallic piste.)
