Piste cancellation is here

We’re pleased to announce the release of our latest product: the EnPointe Piste Box.

The Piste Box allows for metallic pistes to be cancelled in Épée and Foil, and is compatible with all previously sold EnPointe wireless systems.

Accompanying the release of the Piste Box is our newest firmware update: EnPointe Version 1.2. This is the first official update for the EnPointe wireless system. It enables the Piste Box to be used with any of our wireless systems and improves the overall user experience.

It’s called the Piste Box update, but you don’t need to order a Piste Box to take advantage of it – the update includes improvements that will benefit all three weapons.

We’ve worked very hard on this new product, and we’re excited to share our latest technology with you. Our Piste Boxes have been getting a thorough work out, both at our partner test clubs and at tournaments around the world!

Here’s a quick summary of what you can expect from the Piste Box.

CONDUCTIVE TAPE

The Piste Box setup involves laying a strip of conductive tape along the side of the piste that’s then connected to the Piste Box.

PRACTICE SETUPS

This involves placing the conductive tape in a strip along one side of the piste. For most clubs, this type of setup will offer sufficient accuracy in piste cancellation.

COMPETITION SETUPS

This involves placing conductive tape in a border that completely encircles the piste. Providing competition-level accuracy in all environments.

ALTERNATIVE SETUPS

This can involve connecting large pieces of metal – for example a podium or an adjacent piste – to the Piste Box instead of the conductive tape. This setup can vary greatly in different environments, so if you’re interested in an alternative setup for your venue, simply contact our support team and we can help you find the best way to ensure accurate scoring at your club or venue.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
